The 9in round, 9in heart shape and block M cookie cakes are equivalent to 1 dozen cookies and the 12in cookie cake is equivalent to 2 dozen cookies.

Decoration:

Every cookie cake is frosted with white buttercream frosting and can be customized with the text of your choice. Cookie cakes come with rainbow sprinkles/Blue & Yellow Sprinkles around the outside of the cookie cake.

Please fill out the Cookie Cake Order Form on our website to place your order. We ask 5 days notice for all cookie cake orders.

Alternatively, you can email  sales@detroitcookieco.com to set up an order. Please include the date/time for pick up, flavor, text on cake & pickup location. Our Catering manager will respond with an invoice/confirmation of your order ASAP Monday-Friday during normal business hours.

Yes, we roast our own coffee. We offer 3 different caffeinated varieties and 1 decaf roast.

We sell 12oz whole bean coffee bags in stores and online. We are happy to grind the beans for you if needed!

Yes- We sell Ashbys Ice Cream at all of our storefronts!

Flavors rotate often. Come grab some Ice Cream or an Ice Cream sandwich!

Yes we do! We sell Brownies, Blondies, House-Roasted Coffee, Milk, Ashby’s Ice Cream, Vegan Cookies, Gluten Free treats & more. We make cinnamon rolls on Saturday and Sunday morning, First come, first served.

We do not make custom cookies. We only make the flavors listed on our menu plus the current seasonal flavors.

We do not take special orders for seasonal flavors we are not currently baking.

We bake our famous Cinnamon Rolls SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS ONLY! We recommend coming in when we open as sometimes we sell out quickly. We make as many cinnamon rolls as we can fit in our fridges, but they are a hot commodity! Show up and be ready for oooey goooey goodness!

We do not take orders or call aheads for Cinnamon Rolls. First come, first served. We do not ship cinnamon rolls.

Sometimes they sell out in 10 minutes, sometimes they sell out in 5 hours, so feel free to give us a call and check if we still have them available.

You can choose from current seasonal flavors and flavors from our year-round menu, but not previous seasonal flavors. We do not make special orders.

Five minutes if you’re lucky! Kidding, but all jokes aside, our cookies are best when consumed within five days. We do not use preservatives in our products so they are best eaten fresh! Although we recommend that you eat them within five days, our cookies have been lab tested and have a shelf life of 30 days.

Cookies that are packaged for shipping orders typically stay fresh for 7-10 days sealed in their packaging.

Storage Instructions

All of our products are baked fresh with all-natural ingredients.

For optimum freshness, we suggest eating or freezing your cookies within 3-5 days.

Do not put your cookies in the refrigerator, as it can ruin the texture.

For longer-term storage, all of our cookies can be placed in the freezer in their original packaging. When you are ready to eat them, let them defrost at room temperature and enjoy!

Shelf life on our cookies are tested OK at 30 & 45 days. As noted above, within 5 days is ideal “freshness period”.

How to bake Detroit Cookie Company Take & Bake Cookie Dough:

Heat oven to 350 F.
Scoop desired sized cookie onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.

For tablespoon-sized cookies (1oz), baking time is approximately 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown

**Ovens may vary so make sure you keep an eye on them.

→Rotate cookies halfway through for even baking 

→Standard cookies of 2 oz bake @ 350 for 13-17min.

Reheating: Remove from packaging and microwave for 15-20 seconds or heat the oven to 250 F, add cookies to a baking sheet, and bake for 4-5 minutes.

Yes, we ship our delicious cookies anywhere in within the United States via FedEx Ground and FedEx Express!

Orders are shipped out with FedEx Monday through Friday. We do not ship on Saturdays/Sundays or major holidays. FedEx Express does not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays, so please consider this when you choose your shipping option.

Shipping time starts once your order is shipped out.

Any orders placed after 9am on Friday will most likely be shipped out the following Monday with fresh cookies.

Shipping charges are based on total weight of items purchased and is calculated by Fedex.

We use Doordash for local, same-day deliveries. You can check if delivery is available to your location at www.doordash.com or through the doordash app.

We also ship our cookies with Fedex. You can place an order for shipment on the “SHOP” page: www.detroitcookieco.com/shop

You are free to decide what cookies you wish to put in your cookie order, but our cookies are strictly packaged in packs of two. For example, if you purchase the 1 dozen top selling bundle, you will get 6 different flavors (2 cookies in each pack).

Flavor requests can be made in the notes section at the very end of the checkout process. Please note, specialty cookies like PB Volcanos, XL cookies, or blondies are not included.

Freshness

Our cookies are baked fresh daily and we do not use any preservatives in our baked goods. Cookies stay fresh sealed in their packaging for 7-10 days. Our cookies freeze well if you are not able to consume them immediately.

Shipping Policies & Schedule

Orders ship out Monday-Friday. Orders are typically shipped the day after they are placed, but it may take us a little longer to fulfill your order during busy times/holidays.

Cookies are shipped in packs of 2 of the same flavor only. The only exception to this rule is our XL Cookies and Peanut Butter Volcanos that come individually packaged. All cookies come packaged in resealable bags with a flavor sticker.

The cookies are not shipped with ice packs or in a cooler. Our cookies typically arrive unmelted and we don’t know anyone who doesn’t like a warm cookie anyway!

Shipping Order Information:

• We offer shipping with FedEx Ground/Home Delivery or FedEx 2-Day Express.
• Orders typically ship out next business day, but during the holidays/busy times it may take us an extra day or two to fulfill your order.

• We cannot guarantee delivery dates/times, but we always do our best to accommodate requests.

Ground Shipping Time Estimates:

For orders shipping within Michigan, estimated shipping time is 1-3 business days after your order ships.

For orders shipping outside of Michigan, estimated shipping time is 3-5 business days after your order ships.

2-Day Express Shipping:

By choosing this shipping option, your order is estimated to arrive 2 days after it ships out. Express shipping is the best option for any orders shipping to the Western United States. Please be advised- FedEx no longer guarantees arrival in 2 days, but they generally do a good job of sticking to a 2 day delivery time.

Freshness:

Rest assured our cookies stay fresh for 7-10 days sealed in their packaging! If you can’t consume the cookies right away, they can be stored in the freezer.

We cannot guarantee exact arrival dates/times, but we will do our best to ship your order for arrival on the requested date.

You may make a request for a specific delivery date in the “notes/gift note” section when placing your order. We will do our very best to ship the order accordingly, however we cannot guarantee arrival dates/times. Please keep in mind, we also do not have the ability to request a specific time of day for delivery. We ship orders out Monday-Friday. Express does not deliver on Saturday/Sunday.

If your cookies absolutely must arrive by a specific date, we recommend scheduling them to arrive a day or two early. Our cookies keep very well at room temperature for a few days or in a freezer for many weeks if you’d like to order ahead of time.
